Kennebunkport's "Coolest" Stores

We love shopping as much as most of our visitors to Kennebunkport and Kennebunkport has more unique, creative and clever shops than any other shopping destination we know of...Although all are certainly worth a visit we have a few of our favorites and thought we'd put together our "must" visit list....there's not a visit where we haven't found one of those gotta have items...

First on the List-Beach Grass..Owner Glenna Turner has designed a store and product line that screams "coastal living"..cute, clever, imaginative..lots of items for the home..check out http://www.beachgrassshop.com/. It's a bit off the beaten path so be sure to check out their location on the Portwalk along with these other terrific spots.

Right next door to Beach Grass is Stem to Stern, a new store with a classic, crisp, nautical look...has lots of great things for the home and boat! Check out the very cool displays...and friendly staff..

Stem's neighbor Shell Shack is home to all things "seashell" and to owner Annette Brennan's gorgeous "coastal inspired" photographs.

Butterflyfish offers not only a fun name but a kaleidescope of color and fun items for home and hearth....

The Portwalk area's last very cool store is Arbitrage...a clothing and jewelry consignment store- Whether you crave Lilly Pulitzer, Burberry, or Calvin Klein you are sure to find a great 'find" in this treasure trove of gently used designer duds created by owner Kristen Kuehnle.

Your next stop has to be Cottage Breeze Day Spa- a peaceful, relaxing retreat from your shopping...with fabulous potions and lotions for the skin, aromatic candles for the home and the most rejuvenating and relaxing spa treatments in town you could spend the day at Cottage Breeze. Owner Wendy Ross has created a spot where personalized service and individual attention is exceptional....enjoy!

Right around the corner is Day Trip Society- Chic, cool and has the coolest sail cloth bags not to mention lots of other "fun stuff". A great store to explore....

Compliments is your next must try..Gorgeous, upscale hand crafted items for the home and a terrific collection of jewelry not to mention a new wedding collection of bands.

Looking for a great new outfit or cool pair of shoes? Gotta try American Sailor...hip, fun skirts with you name it- cocktails, lobsters, or flip flops! Too cool Tommy Bahama wear and a great array of cozy sweaters and fleecewear....

For those collectors in the bunch you'll definitely want to stop in to the Emporium where Matt Lanigan has assembled gorgeous collectibles from Waterford, Lladro, Swarovoski and Hummel...

Although it's summer you have got to check out the colorful, cozy fleece tops, jackets and hats at Catwear. We love the matching hats and sweet jackets for the little ones....unbelievably cute...

Poofberry's Toys has some great, unique toys for kids of all ages..unique, clever, eduction al and just plain fun you can find a toy for even the kid that has everything...the staff is really helpful in steering you to the right gift.

Looking for a cute and clever gift for the pet in your life?? Look no more! Scalawags has a terrific variety of THE cutest things for your pet..whether unique collars, comfy pet beds or clothes for the best dressed pet..you have to check it out....

And right nearby is Roly's English Fudge- a sweet treat..with the most unbelieable flavors...got a sweet tooth you have to satisfy that craving with their very yummy fudge!

Well knowing how much we love shopping we'll keep checking out Kennebunkport's terrific shops and sharing our fun finds!!
